The Canada Black Music Archives (CBMA) officially launched in November with the aim of preserving the often-overlooked contributions of Black Canadians to the country’s music landscape. The website serves as a comprehensive catalog, featuring biographies, photographs, playlists, and music videos of Black Canadian musicians spanning various genres. Notable figures like Drake, the Weeknd, Molly Johnson, and Jackie Mittoo share space with historical luminaries such as Robert Nathaniel Dett and Portia White.
