Ndidi Cascade

Ndidi Cascade is a Vancouver based emcee of Nigerian, Italian, Irish and Canadian descent. From rapping and songwriting to facilitating, curating and educating, Cascade has laid the foundation for quite the successful career since 2019. The artist has facilitated a widespread number of virtual events, concerts and educational programs such as “Word, Sound and Power” and “Elementalz” amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Said events have both encapsulated and celebrated the origins of the Hip-Hop genre, with applied emphasis on black music history and self-expression.

Over the course of her ongoing career, Ndidi Cascade has opened for a slew of other artists/groups, including legends such as the Wu-Tang Clan and De La Soul. Along with this, Cascade has performed as an activist at events such as the Stayed on Freedom Concert and the Wake Up Social Justice Music Festival in celebration of Black History Month.

Cascade is also the creator and producer of ORIGINZ and Metaphor, outstanding educational shows that are currently touring elementary, junior high and high schools in British Columbia and surrounding areas. These shows have culminated as a staple of the artist’s career, as she prides herself in educating students across Canada on the hip-hop movement.
