At the age of ten, Aquaa-Harrison started his first business breeding tropical fish, then transitioned into interior design at the age of twelve and by fifteen he was building and playing electric guitars. His work spans over music, radio, television, film, theatre, dance, and community support. By the time he turned twenty-two, Aquaa-Harrison had become a prime-time Toronto radio host and journalist. The former CKLN FM radio host is known as a visionary resource due to his commitment towards social transformation through his art. He is an accomplished performer, playing instruments he designed and built himself, like the ‘seperewa’–a rare 17th-century Akan harp-lute. He has performed across Canada, Japan, Bermuda, Bali, and Costa Rica and for diverse audiences such as Lincoln Alexander, Prince Andrew, Alicia Keys, the President & Prime Minister of Guyana, charities and for television.

Aquaa-Harrsion also leads the Djungle Bouti Orchestra that has members from Trinidad, Tanzania, Algeria, and South Africa. Their “Djazz 2.1.4” album was nominated for a Toronto Independent Music Award and was recognized by artists like Habib Koite and Mighty Popo.
