Dahlia Anderson

The bilingual songstress, Dahlia Anderson, continues to impress audiences with her reggae fusion stylings. Jamaican born, she moved to Montreal, Quebec at the age of 12. It was once she moved to the province that she learned to speak French, learning it in school and by watching French television programming.

Anderson’s interest in music grew in Montreal, and when she began performing in both English and French; this approach helped expand her audience and opened many doors. Throughout her career, she has shared the stage with international artists like Freddie McGregor, Munga Honorable, Popcaan, and Shaggy. She also worked with JUNO-winning producer, Orville “Wyz” Malcolm. Through their collaboration, Dahlia released EP’s Open My Eyes and Broken Hearted.

Her magnetic performances and captivating vocals have led her to sing on stages in Canada and the Caribbean at various festivals and events, including the Uprising Youth INPROGRESS Talent Awards, Reggae and Soca On the Rocks in Turks and Caicos, and many more.

After a brief hiatus, she is continuing to work on her music, releasing several singles including “No good fortune” and “”Chanson D’amour””, as well as working on her new album.
