Jah Beng was born in Jamaica and migrated to Canada. Reggae artists like Burning Spear and Chronixx influenced his music, inspiring his first albums, “Cry for the Children” and “River of Healing.” He was recognized for these two albums, including two JUNO award nominations for best reggae recordings.
He soon became an international phenomenon and toured in countries such as the United States, Netherlands, France and Canada with his music. Beng performed with artists like Buju Banton, Sizzla, Anthony B., Luciano and Capleton. His vision is to use music as a platform to elevate people and advocate love, unity, peace and freedom worldwide.
