Tanya Mullings is a dancehall/reggae artist and radio host. Mullins started her career in 1989, following in the footsteps of her father, Canadian reggae pioneer, Karl Mullings. She is based in Brampton, Ontario, and has performed with some of the best artists in the reggae scene, travelling to multiple countries to showcase her talent. Throughout her twenty-plus years in the industry, Mullings had released four albums with renowned industry producers.
She has performed at festivals including, Reggae Sumfest, the Montreal International Reggae Festival, the Calgary International Reggae Festival, North America’s premier Irie Jamboree, Madison Square Gardens, HardvRock Live in Orlando, and the Brixton Acadamy in London. Mullings is a trailblazing female reggae artist nominated for six Juno awards, won 11 Canadian Reggae Music Awards, and received five Caribbean Crucible Awards. In 2024, she was an honouree in the book Top 100 Canadian Black Women-2024. Currently, she hosts a weekly radio show on G98.7 FM.
